Cancel at least 48 hours before departure to get travel credit.
Use it on any Eurosava flight, for anyone on the original booking.
If your flight is cancelled by us or the carrier, you can choose a refund.
How this policy works
When you cancel a booking, Eurosava does not return the payment in money. Instead we issue travel credit: a balance you can spend on a new Eurosava booking. When we or the carrier cancel your flight, you can have your money back. This policy is part of our terms and conditions and general travel conditions.
The 14-day right to withdraw from a distance contract under the Law on Consumer Protection does not apply to contracts for passenger transport, so a paid flight booking cannot be withdrawn from free of charge.
Nothing in this policy limits any rights you have under passenger-rights or consumer law that applies to your flight. Where the law gives you a right to a refund that cannot be excluded, we will honour it.
When you cancel
- 48 hours or more before departure: you receive travel credit for the amount you paid for the flights and fare package, seats and extras on the cancelled flights.
- Less than 48 hours before departure, or no-show: the booking cannot be converted into credit and the fare is not returned. Airport and passenger taxes that are charged per passenger and were not used because you did not fly are returned on request.
- Part of a trip: you can cancel the return flight only, or single travellers. Credit is calculated for the cancelled part.
To cancel, contact us with your booking reference and the last name on the booking. The cancellation is effective when we confirm it in writing.
When we cancel or change your flight
If we or the carrier cancel your flight, or move it by five hours or more, you can choose:
- another flight to your destination at no extra cost, subject to seats; or
- a refund in money of the full amount you paid for the affected flights, including seats and extras bought through us, paid to your card within 7 days; or
- travel credit for the same amount, if you prefer credit to a refund.
We ask you to choose within 14 days of our notice. If we do not hear from you, we keep the amount as travel credit, and you can still ask for the refund for as long as the credit is unused.
You may also be entitled to care at the airport and to compensation under the air passenger rights rules described in our general travel conditions.
What is not converted into credit
- Payment fees charged by your bank or card issuer.
- Travel insurance once cover has started. Cancellation cover is handled by our insurance partner under the insurance terms; contact us and we will help you claim.
- Services already used, such as a completed outbound flight or transfer.
- Flights on partner airlines whose own fare rules don't allow cancellation. We tell you the fare rules before you pay, and pass on any value the airline returns to us as credit.
Using your credit
- Credit is valid for 12 months from the date we issue it. You must book within that time; the flight itself can be later.
- You can use it for any traveller named on the original booking, on any Eurosava flight, fare package, seat or extra.
- If the new booking costs more, you pay the difference. If it costs less, the rest stays on your credit until it expires.
- You can combine credit from up to two bookings on one new booking.
- To use credit, contact us with your credit code or the original booking reference and the flight you want. We apply it and send you the new booking.
Credit rules
- Credit has no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money and does not earn interest.
- It cannot be sold. It can be transferred to another person once, on request, before it is used.
- Unused credit expires at the end of its validity and cannot be extended, except where we cancelled the flight and you could not travel for reasons beyond your control. Ask us.
- If we find credit was obtained through fraud or a payment chargeback, we may cancel it.
Name corrections and date changes
Instead of cancelling, you can often change your booking. Contact us at least 72 hours before departure:
- Spelling corrections to a traveller's name are free.
- Date or flight changes are possible subject to seats; you pay any fare difference. If the new flight is cheaper, the difference becomes credit.
- Changing to another traveller is treated as a cancellation and a new booking.
Chargebacks
If you dispute a payment with your bank instead of contacting us, the booking is cancelled while the dispute is open and no credit is issued for it. Please talk to us first; most problems can be solved quickly.
Contact us at info@eurosava.com or through the contact form, and include your booking reference if it is about a booking.
